Google Analytics Tracking Code not found in source

QUESTIONS & ANSWERSCategory: WordPressGoogle Analytics Tracking Code not found in source
Lisa Clarke asked 3 months ago

Hi. I recently authorized your WP plugin, and noticed that there were no statistics being collected. I checked the code via view source and couldn’t find any tracking code inserted.
The information listed under General Settings looks correct.
The GA plugin error log is empty.
Any idea what is the matter? Could it be a file permissions issue?

Thanks!

Hi, you will need to purge your CDN and page cache. Most probably it’s because of your cache plugin and/or Cloudflare. I’ve seen you’re using Cloudflare.

Thanks for the quick response.
I purged the cache, and it didn’t help.
We get our font-awesome icons from Cloudflare. How does that affect the tracking?

I decided to add the code manually to the footer, and it’s working now. Thank you for your help.
