What PageRank means?
PageRank is a link analysis algorithm. PageRank is used by the Google internet search engine with the purpose to establish the link importance within a set of links.
The PageRank of a link is higher as there are more links to it.
PageRank is a whole number having values between 0 and 10.
PR(X) = (1 – d) + d * SUM ((PR(I->X)/C(I)) where:
PR(X) – is the PageRank of page X.
d – is a value usualy equal to 0,85.
PR(I->X) – is the PageRank of pages I which have a link to X.
C(I) – is the number of links of page I.
PR(I->X)/C(I) – is the PR value which X receives from I.
SUM (PR(I->X)/C(I)) – is the sum of all PRs which X receives from pages that have links to it.
