Default username and password for ASUS routers

ASUSTEK Computer is an international manufacturer of graphics cards, motherboards, networking equipment, laptops, servers, mobile phones and other IT equipment. Asus routers have a good quality and they are also cost effective. 

After resetting the router to factory defaults, for router configuration you will need the router’s IP and the default username and password.

After reset, an Asus router can be configured using the Web interface. To access the web interface of an Asus router, you must enter the router’s IP and the default username and password in a browser. You can use any browser: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer.

These usernames and passwords are valid for Asus routers running the original firmware. For Asus routers running Oleg firmware the username and password is “admin” and for those running DD-WRT firmware the username is “root” and the password is “admin”.
